About this Practice
Triangle Pose — a full-body stretch that improves flexibility in the hips and spine, strengthens the legs, and stimulates digestion. Its open, expansive shape counteracts desk-work posture.
How to Practise
- 1
Stand with feet wide. Turn right foot out 90°, left foot in slightly.
- 2
Extend arms parallel to floor. Inhale and reach the right arm long.
- 3
Exhale, hinge at hip and lower hand toward shin or floor.
- 4
Extend left arm straight up. Gaze at left thumb.
- 5
Hold 5–8 breaths. Repeat on the left.
