About this Practice
Easy Pose — the classic seated meditation posture. Opens the hips gently and provides the stable, upright seat required for pranayama and meditation practice.
How to Practise
- 1
Sit on the floor, crossing the shins.
- 2
Sit on a folded blanket if the lower back rounds.
- 3
Place hands on knees, palms up or down.
- 4
Lengthen through the crown. Soften the face.
- 5
Hold for 1–10 minutes.
