About this Practice
Hare/Rabbit Pose — a kneeling forward fold that provides a deep stretch to the back, shoulders, and hips. Often used as a restorative counter-pose after deep backbends. Known as the 'pose of the moon.'
How to Practise
- 1
Begin in Vajrasana.
- 2
Inhale and raise arms overhead.
- 3
Exhale and fold forward, sweeping arms forward along the floor.
- 4
Forehead and palms rest on the floor.
- 5
Hold 1–3 minutes, breathing deeply.
