About this Practice
Rowing the boat. A seated circular movement mimicking rowing, massaging the abdominal organs and loosening the entire spine from sacrum to cervical. Excellent for constipation and sluggish digestion.
How to Practise
- 1
Sit with legs extended, arms reaching forward.
- 2
Inhale and lean back while raising the arms overhead (imagining pulling oars back).
- 3
Exhale and fold forward, arms reaching toward the feet.
- 4
Continue this circular rowing motion. 10 rounds forward, 10 reverse.
