About this Practice

Crocodile Pose — a deeply restorative prone posture that allows the spine to decompress fully while belly breathing is deepened. The natural resting position during prone practice and the primary posture for asthma management.

How to Practise

  1. 1

    Lie face down. Cross the forearms in front, resting the forehead on the arms.

  2. 2

    Let the legs be slightly apart, toes out.

  3. 3

    Close the eyes. Allow the belly to breathe into the floor.

  4. 4

    Remain 5–10 minutes, breathing deeply and slowly.
