About this Practice
Bound Angle Pose — a hip-opening posture that stimulates the reproductive and pelvic organs. The "cobbler pose" — named for the position in which cobblers sit. Excellent for menstrual health and sciatica.
How to Practise
- 1
Sit with the soles of the feet together, knees falling out to the sides.
- 2
Hold the feet with interlaced fingers.
- 3
Sit tall, pressing the sitting bones into the floor.
- 4
Gently press the knees toward the floor — never force.
- 5
Hold 1–5 minutes.
